When you are alone, try thinking in English.
Think about:
what you can see
what you are doing, what you did, what you will do
or whatever!
This is very good practice because it's similar to speaking, but easier.
Write a little bit every day.
You can write:
a diary about your day
about a movie you have seen
about a conversation you have had
anything
Give your writing to your teacher to correct.

Listen and repeat
This is how a baby learns - it's natural.

Listen to a conversation in a movie. Listen and write what you hear. Listen and repeat. Most movies have scripts so you can check what they are saying. Just Google the movie and "script".
