Thinking in English

When you are alone, try thinking in English.

Think about:

what you can see

what you are doing, what you did, what you will do

or whatever!

This is very good practice because it's similar to speaking, but easier.

Writing in English

Write a little bit every day.

You can write:

a diary about your day

about a movie you have seen

about a conversation you have had

anything

Give your writing to your teacher to correct.

Pronunciation

Learn Harry's alphabet so you can understand the real sounds of English.

Listen and repeat

This is how a baby learns - it's natural.

You can listen to one word on Google Translate - listen and repeat at least 3 times

Listen to a conversation in a movie. Listen and write what you hear. Listen and repeat. Most movies have scripts so you can check what they are saying. Just Google the movie and "script".

Learn songs in English. Google the song name and "lyrics".

Turn off the English subtitles when you watch TV, then watch again with subtitles.
