The Passive in Turkish
In English, Passive = be + V3
In Turkish, the Passive is made by adding one of these sounds:
“n , õn/in/un/ün , õl/il/ul/ül”

“be” is in the same tense as the active verb:
Hesabõ ben ödeyeceğim. I will pay the bill.
Hesap, benim tarafõmdan ödenecek. The bill will be paid by
me.
Ali arabayõ temizliyor. Ali is cleaning the car.
Araba Ali tarafõndan temizleniyor. The car is being cleaned
by Ali.
